PRIVACY VERSION · 2026-10-03
Privacy Policy
SkyHive Network, LLC operates Yoke On and is responsible for the information practices described here.
This policy explains how Yoke On handles information in its website and community application. It describes the service’s actual data use rather than promising that information is never processed or shared.
1. Information you provide
We process account information such as email, optional phone, display name and authentication information; profile information such as avatar, biography and selected home airport; community posts, comments, likes, follows and audience settings; flight plans and participation requests; private messages and attachments; notifications; and reports or support correspondence.
Pilot applicants provide legal name, certificate details, flight-hour information and supporting certificate and identity images. These materials are restricted to the applicant and authorized reviewers, rather than published on the profile.
2. Information processed automatically
The service processes a session cookie, browser/device description for session management, request identifiers, technical error and performance records, and network information needed to deliver requests and limit misuse. Hosting and delivery providers may process IP addresses and connection details. Your home airport is a location preference; you do not need to grant precise device location access to use the service.
3. Why we use information
We use information to create and protect accounts, verify contact ownership, present content to its permitted audience, support flight coordination and conversations, review pilot submissions and reports, deliver necessary notices, maintain and improve service reliability, investigate misuse and respond to requests or legal obligations.
Community recommendations use service activity such as recency, follows and interactions. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use community content to train an external AI service.
4. Visibility and sharing
Your account can be visible to everyone, mutual friends or only you. A post may use a narrower audience; the stricter account/post choice applies. Public flight announcements remain visible separately. Contact information and pilot documents are not exposed by setting your account to public. Private messages are available to participants; reported messages may be inspected by authorized staff as part of an investigation.
We use service providers for hosting, website delivery, email and SMS delivery where configured. Providers receive information needed for their service, such as a recipient address and verification message. We may disclose information to comply with lawful requests, protect rights and safety, or investigate misuse. We do not describe offline arrangements or third-party pages as controlled by Yoke On.
5. Cookies and external resources
The application uses a necessary session cookie to keep you signed in and protect account access. Clearing or blocking that cookie ends or prevents sign-in. The service does not require advertising cookies. Website fonts or other externally loaded presentation resources may disclose standard connection information to their providers. External links are governed by the destination’s privacy practices.
6. Storage, security and retention
Application data and uploads are stored on our AWS-hosted server, with access controls and backup procedures. Passwords are stored as hashes, session tokens are hashed in the database, and authenticator setup secrets are encrypted. HTTPS protects data in transit when accessing the production service. No service can guarantee absolute security.
Information is retained while needed to provide your account and relevant features. Expired sessions and verification challenges are cleared automatically. Deleted posts are removed from ordinary display; limited copies may remain in backups or records needed to investigate misuse or resolve obligations. Daily and weekly backups rotate under the retention schedule. We review closure and deletion requests to identify data that can be removed and any records that must be retained, and explain relevant limitations.
7. Your choices and requests
You can edit profile information, change verified contacts, change audience settings, manage follows and blocks, remove your posts or comments, and revoke sign-in sessions through account settings. Contact support@yokeon.com to request access, a copy, correction, deletion or account closure, or to raise a privacy concern. We may ask you to verify control of the account before releasing or changing information. Available rights and exceptions depend on applicable law, and we will not penalize you for exercising applicable rights.
We do not sell or share data for cross-context behavioral advertising, so an advertising-sale opt-out is not needed to prevent such use. Browser privacy signals do not change the session cookie needed for sign-in. You can leave marketing or social channels without disabling essential account notices.
8. Recruitment pages
Job applications, interview scheduling and onboarding use a separate HR service. Materials entered there are sent to that service for recruitment or employment administration, not stored as community profile data. The relevant recruitment notices and organization practices apply to those submissions.
9. Children
The community application is intended for adults aged 18 and over. Do not submit a child’s identity information or create an account for a child. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted information so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
10. Changes and contact
We publish the policy version and will communicate material changes as appropriate. Contact the Yoke On team at support@yokeon.com with privacy questions.
